Keinan Johnson is a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary reshaping the marketing and entrepreneurial landscape in Charlotte, North Carolina. With expertise in marketing technology, leadership development, networking, and event management, Keinan is a dedicated leader committed to fostering growth and building communities. At the helm of KeiStone Kollective, a private marketing tech firm, he crafts exclusive communities for non-profits and micro-enterprises, employing strategic marketing techniques to drive engagement and cultivate loyal followings for various brands and organizations.
In addition to leading KeiStone Kollective, Keinan serves as the Director of the Charlotte Collegiate Institute, mentoring the city's most promising Black and Brown collegiate scholars. He nurtures the next generation of leaders by providing guidance and resources for success. Keinan's influence extends further as he co-founded and directs marketing efforts for "The Exclusive CLT," a networking group uniting Black professionals in Charlotte. Through this platform, he fosters connections, collaborations, and career development opportunities.

Timothy Hughes

Associate General Counsel & Senior Vice President, Bank of America
Timothy Hughes manages Bank of America’s response to governmental investigations and inquires, primarily related to consumer, small business, and mortgage productions (including CFPB, DOJ, and State Attorneys General). Prior to Bank of America, Tim worked at an international law firm for seven years specializing in banking and financial services litigation, regulatory and internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, and consumer class actions. Tim was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch in the practice areas of Commercial Litigation, Banking and Finance Litigation, and Criminal Defense: White-Collar. Tim was also named to the National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 list. Prior to practicing law, Tim served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Robert J. Conrad Jr. (WDNC). During law school, he worked at the White House in the Office of Cabinet Affairs. He also served as a legislative clerk on Capitol Hill for U.S. Congressman G.K. Butterfield. Tim received a B.A. in History, with highest distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from Duke Law School. Tim also graduated from the Institute for Responsible Citizenship in 2010.

John Marshall
Charlotte Collegiate Institute Director
John Marshall is the Head of Retail & Home at Citizens Pay, a division of Citizens Financial Group, that provides unique, installment point of sale financing programs to drive sales growth for partners and easy financing options to their valued customers. In this role John leads a team of General Managers that drive the partnerships for Citizen Pay’s largest vertical, including relationships with Vivint, BJ’s, Wayfair and Z Gallerie to name a few. He recently joined Citizens Pay after spending the previous 17 years of his career in a variety of leadership roles at Experian, GE Capital/Synchrony Financial, FedEx and Newell Rubbermaid. Along with that, John has always been passionate and actively involved in ‘paying it forward’ to the next generation in his personal and professional communities. He’s currently a Director with The Charlotte Collegiate Institute, on the Board for Goodwill of Southern Piedmont and a Big with Big Brothers Big Sister. With these organizations, John is able put his unbridled energy towards educating, empowering and preparing young, minority men and women for what lies ahead in their personal/professional journeys!
John holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He and his wife, Ariel, just celebrated their 11- year anniversary and they are the proud parents of Grant (4 years old) and Davis (1 year old).
